Rupam Sikder began his career in his 25s after undergoing formal training from National Institute of Photography, during which time he assisted photographers Nitin Patel, Rakesh kulkarni and Pranath Saroes.
Rupam's inspiration comes from glamour photography that he tries to emulate across his personal and commercial work. He likes to observe light and use it to great effect wherever possible.
He shoots in his own distinct way to show his unique personal vision. He is currently based in Kolkata and focuses on his personal books, exhibitions and photo documentary.
